I’m a counsellor whose belief is that you are the expert of your own life.

I strive to adapt my process to each client’s individual needs. Sessions are always approached from a judgment-free perspective to create a space where you feel safe to express yourself.

Although our sessions will be primarily talk-therapy based, I’ve found a lot of value from integrating aspects of Somatic Therapy and CBT into sessions, explained below. Rachel RPC-C

Somatic therapy is a form of body-centred therapy that focuses on the connection of mind and body. Somatic techniques include breath work, body scans and grounding exercises to help release tension affecting your physical and emotional wellbeing.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured form of psychotherapy that is used to help identify and change unhelpful thought patterns. CBT is often used to treat anxiety and depression.
